Itinerary

Head to the meet-up point in central Rome, where you'll board an air-conditioned coach and set off for Pompeii. Meet your guide at the attraction's entrance and slip past the crowds with skip-the-line tickets, heading straight inside for a tour of the ancient city’s highlights. You'll also have some free time to get lunch.

Back on the coach, take in views of the Amalfi Coast as you head further south. See where the coastline meets mountains and the charming villages that dot them.

Stop in Positano, where you can sightsee, shop, or relax, exploring the village at your own pace. Afterwards, board the coach for the return drive to Rome and drop-off at the departure point.

1.Pompeii

At arrival in Pompeii your Skip-the-Line tickets to the ancient site will be much appreciated as you breeze past the long lines and enter into this time capsule of the ancient Roman world. Here you will meet your local, expert, English speaking guide who knows all the hidden corners and interesting tales that are waiting to be discovered inside. Visit the marvelously preserved ancient villas, public baths, restaurants, theatres, and maybe even a brothel, of the ancient world as the past comes to life through the insights and stories of your enthusiastic guide.

2.Costiera Amalfitana

After some free time for a few last pictures of Pompeii and lunch (at own expense) the tour will continue further south along the picturesque seaside roads of the Amalfi Coast where the Dolce Vita was born. Here your breath will be taken away by the spectacular coastlines as the mountains cascade into the sea and romantic villages climb up the mountains like grapevines.

3.Positano

The winding roads will lead you to one of the most beautiful seaside villages that the Amalfi Coast has to offer, Positano. Here you will have free time to explore the meandering streets lined with artisanal local shops or just sit back and enjoy the incredible view while sipping the local specialty, limoncello! Whichever you choose you will be sure to remember your afternoon in this jewel of a seaside village.

• Lunch is not included. Options may be limited in the winter season (nov-march), we suggest bringing your own food and drinks. Alternatively, your Tour Leader can help you arrange a takeaway lunch.

• Children under the age of 18 might be requested to show their ID card at the entrance of the site, so please bring it with you on the tour

• Luggage is not permitted on the coach. Please note that luggage storage is not available.

• Please be advised that this tour requires an important amount of walking and we cannot recommend to people with mobility impairments to take part in this tour.
