What To Expect
Get more from a journey to Fez from Marrakech with this 3-day transfer-and-tour combo, which lets you experience Morocco’s Merzouga Desert and Atlas Mountains in one exciting adventure.
After pickup in Marrakech, travel by air-conditioned vehicle through the craggy High Atlas: passing Berber villages and crossing the Tizi-n'Tichka Pass before visiting the stunning, UNESCO-listed Ait-Ben Haddou kasbah.
Continue to the Valley of the Roses for dinner and overnight, and on day two, experience the Dades Gorge and Todra Valley before arriving at Merzouga, near the Sahara’s Erg Chebbi dunes.
Take a sunset camel trek to your desert camp, and opt to try sandboarding and rent an all-terrain vehicle (ATV) or buggy (own expense). After a tagine dinner and Berber music, sleep in a tent and wake for a sunrise camel ride and breakfast. Then, see oases, rocky gorges, and Azrou's forests, famous for their monkeys, on route to Fez, where your tour ends.
Upgrade to a Premium Desert Tour to travel by private 4WD, stay in a luxury riad and deluxe desert camp; and enjoy an included desert ATV ride. Alternatively, choose a Standard Tour with standard desert tent or upgrade for a deluxe tent with private bathroom.
